50 yards of white polyester satin double fold bias tape, 1/4 inch wide. This bias tape is prefolded to 1/4". Bias tape is perfect for covering the raw edges of fabric and due to its bias cut is ideal for creating a decorative edge on curves. Use in home decorating, garments, and quilting projects. Bulk binding with its continuous length is especially useful in avoiding the need to join short lengths of packaged bias tape.Click Here for detailed color charts

Great - Just what I need!

I am a member of a group named Andrew's Angel Gowns. We make gowns for stillborn babies from wedding dresses. Each month I make 20 - 30 gowns and this bias tape is great for finishing the raw edges.

Lovely sheen - the result is worth it

This tape is a little grainier than I expected, but it has a very lovely sheen, and I think it won't catch as easily as a smoother ribbon would. It's quite difficult to work with, because it is so slippery, but again, you would expect that from satin. If you iron it on the lowest setting with steam, it'll totally loose its folds, so don't do that (I found out the hard way). I just used tons of pins, and that worked, but looking back, I think the easiest way to work with that tape would be with a wash-away, double-sided adhesive like Wondertape, that you can press on until you stitch. The result is totally worth it though! I hemmed the ruffles on my skirt with it, and it looks awesome!!!
